Preventative care is a key component in keeping your pets healthy and protecting them from common diseases.
Because maintaining your pet’s health can be difficult when resources are limited, Animal Humane Society offers select wellness services at Melrose Animal Clinic in Golden Valley to income qualified pet owners and 501(c)3 shelters and rescue partners.
We do not have the ability to treat sick or injured animals. If your pet is lethargic, not eating, has labored breathing, is vomiting, or has a severe injury, please see your local veterinarian or consider visiting another clinic that provides affordable services.
You must show proof of qualification to receive wellness services.
We make every effort to care for every animal in the order of arrival. When you and your pet arrive, you'll be given an approximate time your pet will be seen. The last patient will be seen at 3:20 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and 12:20 p.m. on Saturdays. Due to the nature of veterinary medicine and the unpredictable flow of patients, please be aware that wait times can be unpredictable and that we may reach capacity for walk-ins before the designated end time. We apologize for any inconvenience or long wait you may encounter while seeking care for your pet. Thank you for your patience!
