Who is eligible for services?

Kindest Cut welcomes individuals with limited incomes who are otherwise unable to afford sterilization surgeries, wellness services, and dental services for their companion cats, dogs and rabbits.

Income qualifications

To quality for Kindest Cut services, participants must be enrolled in one of the government assistance programs or fall within the household size and income parameters listed below. Please note that Proof of Gross Income is requested prior to receiving services.

Documents to bring to your appointment

Once you’ve determined that you qualify for Kindest Cut, you must bring Proof of Gross Income to your appointment prior to receiving services. The following documents are accepted.

Feral cat caretakers

Kindest Cut allows feral cat caretakers and barn cat owners to utilize its service on a limited basis without meeting income or government assistance requirements. Please note all feral or barn cats will receive an ear notch to signify that they are spayed or neutered. For more information, contact Kindest Cut at 763-489-SPAY (7729).

To help our community cat caretakers keep the population healthy, we offer Feline Leukemia/FIV virus testing for $24 or Feline Leukemia Virus Testing for $17 to our feral cats while in for surgery.
